I cried when I learned of Adam's passing.  I didn't get to work with Adam the last few years as I changed positions, but I was his trainer when he first started working at Nuance.  I will NEVER forget him in my classes.  He was such a naturally curious person and always wanted to know "why" the software did what it did....and "how" also.  He and I shared a similar outlook on system implementation and support.  He also made sure we didn't stay too serious for too long, which sure can be nice in a technology class.  Smile  In later years, if Adam came to me with a system question, I knew it was going to be a tough one.  He always researched things himself before asking for help.  He stumped me more than once and we had to call on engineers to get answers.

He was so proud of his girls.  I remember seeing pictures when they were really little still.  They were his pride and joy, for sure.  We talked a lot about parenting too.  I was expecting my first child at the time.

In my customer interactions, I repeatedly heard how wonderful he was to work with.  I have to agree.

To the family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.  The world lost a great man.  He will be missed by many.  I pray that you find peace and closure as time passes.  Girls, your dad lives on in you...in your hearts, in your beliefs & morals, and in who you are.

It was a very sad day to hear of Adam's passing.  Adam was an amazing friend and one of the best people I know.  I will always remember his glowing smile and infectious laugh.  He always  had a twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of his daughters.  He was a very proud father. My prayers go out to his family and everyione suffering this great loss.  Adam you will never be forgotten!

We can remember the sadness of your passing only so long before the joy of time spent with you overtakes us.

Miss you brother.

I had the privilege of working with Adam at Nuance (dating back to the Dictaphone days).  He was a special person.  We shared a few memorable child-rearing stories over the years.  Based on what I knew of Adam and those conversations, I am absolutely convinced his legacy will live on in the lives of his children.  Special blessings to all of you.  Our family is praying for Adam's family.
